In any case, if you do not wish to configure a HAM device in the recommended way using our application, it is possible to register your WiFi credentials with the device using your laptop or desktop computer. This is done using the access point of the relevant HAM device and is very simple.

1. Connect the HAM device to the panel

2. Press the corresponding button until the green LED starts flashing. Wait at least 3 minutes for the device to set up its own WiFi access point.

3. Check that the device's access point is enabled by checking the 'Available WiFi networks' tab on your computer, located at the bottom right of your screen.

4. In this tab, you will see all the available networks near your computer. You should see a WiFi with a formatted name: "HAMXX_XXXX" This is the device's access point.

5. In this tab, you will see all the available networks near your computer. You should see a WiFi with a formatted name: "HAMXXXX_XXXX" This is the device's access point.

If you do not see a network called "HAMXX_XXXX" in the list and at least 3 minutes have passed since you plugged in the unit, unplug the unit and repeat the procedure from the beginning.

6. Then connect to WiFi "HAMXX_XXXX". The code you will be asked for is the device key (D/K), which can be found on the back of the device or in the manual. If you can't find it, follow the instructions in the related article by clicking here.

7. Once you have connected to the machine's access point, open a browser, preferably Google Chrome, and enter the following in the search bar "192.168.4.1".

8. On the page that appears, enter the name and password of the WiFi to which you want the HAM to connect and click 'Submit'.

9. You should see a message saying "You can now close this window and return to the application". Even if it doesn't, you'll know the process is complete because it will disconnect you from the device's access point. If you have set your WiFi credentials correctly, your device is now connected to the Internet.

** If the green LED is completely off, it means that the device has received the WiFi data you have given it, but cannot connect to the Internet.
