Suggested way of installation
Place the HAM ThermoSense device on or near the chamber. You can use the double-sided adhesive tape (red lines) to fix it to the wall or other surfaces. It is recommended to position the device near a power outlet so that it can be powered using the provided USB cable. The main part of the device (the white box) with the sensor should be placed OUTSIDE the cooling chamber. After fixing the main part of the device, insert the temperature measurement sensor into the chamber. The easiest way is to have the sensor enter the cooler through the door hose. Fix the sensor in a suitable place to obtain reliable temperature measurements. Please place the HAM ThermoSense device on or near the chamber where you want to measure the temperature. You can use the double-sided adhesive tape (red lines) to attach it to the wall or other surfaces. It's best to position the device near a power outlet so that you can power it with the provided USB cable. In any case, the main part of the device (the white box) where the sensor is located should be placed OUTSIDE the cooling chamber. After mounting and fixing the main part of the device, insert the temperature measurement sensor into the chamber. The easiest way is to have the sensor enter the cooler through the door hose. Secure the sensor in a suitable place to ensure accurate temperature measurements.

For measurements from cold chambers, we recommend that you place the sensor in a position within the chamber that is representative of its temperature.
Installation alternatives
In addition to the USB cable, the device can also be powered using an external power supply (5-12V DC) by connecting it to positions 1 and 2. It is advisable to seek guidance from a qualified technician (electrician, refrigeration engineer) for the connection. Some users opt to pass the sensor through specific openings rather than the door hose. While this can be a useful approach, we recommend consulting with your refrigeration engineer before making any modifications.
What to avoid
For the most efficient temperature measurement we recommend avoiding the following:
When placing the sensor, ensure that it is exposed when the door is open. Also, position the sensor so that it is affected by the refrigerator fan. The sensor should be placed against the walls of the refrigerator and should rest against the products inside. Lastly, position the sensor close to the refrigerator lamp.
