- We go to the Settings category and select it
Synchronisation of the device with the air conditioner
1. In the "Devices" tab, select the HAM RemoteAC device you wish to synchronise with your air conditioner and click "More".
2. In the list of options that appears, select "Settings".
3. In the first category, make sure to select "Air Conditioner". In the second category, browse through the options until you find the manufacturer of your own air conditioner that you want to sync.
- If you find the manufacturer of your air conditioner in the list, select it.
- If you do not find the manufacturer of your air conditioner in the list, then click on the "Other" option at the end of the list.
4. Press the "Test all" option so that the HAM RemoteAC device will start searching for your air conditioner.
5. During the search (1) you should be alert, so that when your air conditioner makes its characteristic sound, then stop the process by pressing the corresponding indicator (2).
Then select "OK" on the option that caused the sound from your air conditioner so that the HAM RemoteAC device is fully synchronized with your air conditioner (3).
Finding the most likely compatible codes
There is a high likelihood that your air conditioner will respond to more than one codeset. The next step is to identify the compatible codesets that are most likely to synchronize the HAM RemoteAC with your air conditioner. First, ensure that your air conditioner is turned off, and then return to the codeset list page. From the codes you recorded in the previous step, try each one individually by pressing "MODE HEAT" or "MODE COOL." The codes that successfully activate your air conditioner using these options are likely the correct codesets.
Failure of alternative mode - Setting "Preamble" activation
If after the above procedure no code has been able to activate your air conditioner, then your air conditioner may not be able to be activated by direct air commands (HEAT, COOL), but may need the following procedure.
- Air conditioner activation (Power ON)
- Air mode command (HEAT, COOL)
The first thing recommended to try is setting the activation prefix to the most likely compatible codes. All you need to do is locate the code and take turns tapping the options.
- "does it work from off mode?"
- "Set with ON preamble"
Once the specific code has been synchronized, try turning on your air conditioner using the main control panel. If you are still unable to power it on, proceed to the "Preview" activation procedure for all compatible codes listed in Section 1, although this is unlikely to be necessary.
**Help us improve the process of finding your air conditioner! If your manufacturer is not on our list, please sync your air conditioner first. Then, record the serial number and let us know the manufacturer.**
