To share the device, the user must first create an account on the HAM Systems website or app, ensuring that the sharing platform recognizes their email address.
- In the "Devices" tab, select the device you want to share and click "More"
- Click on the "Share" submenu
- Enter the email of the user you want to share your device with and set the permission level you want to give them for your device
- Click on the "Update sharing" button to give him/her access
- The user will receive a message in their email asking them to accept the sharing
Once he accepts, he will be able to see the device he has shared in his account from our app or web app.
Status selection
Read: Monitor device status, data and print reports. Monitor device reports, status reports and reports on device status, reports and reports.
Write: monitoring of device status and data, printing of reports and control on the various device outputs (if any). No possibility to edit settings.
Admin: full access to system capabilities.
Local only
If you want to share devices but prefer that they are not controlled when someone is out of range, the HAM Systems application offers you that option. By selecting the "Local only" checkbox, you can limit access to accounts that are within range of the device. However, this requires that you first share the devices by choosing one of the three situations mentioned earlier.
Deleting a device
If you no longer want to see the device in your account you can delete it by following the steps below
- In the "Devices" tab, select the device you want to delete and click "More"
- Click on the "Sharing" submenu
- Select to delete the device
