Output change confirmation

Several HAM devices have the ability to control any electrical load, remotely, at the touch of a button from our platform or app. With these devices, the owner can indicatively control:

• Electric doors, electric shutters etc. (HAM Relay)
• Plug-in devices (HAM Plug)
• Electrical appliances or single-panel supply networks (HAM DinSwitch)

In some cases, the load or device you wish to control remotely may be of high importance or consumption, such that turning it on or off unexpectedly may cause a problem.

In this case, you can ensure the safe operation of the load you are controlling so that it is not accidentally switched on/off by the owner of the device, or those who have the right to operate it. 

Below we present the "Output change Confirmation" procedure for exactly this purpose

1. Each HAM output device can control this output from the main menu, in the "Devices" tab, with the corresponding "switch" in the right part of its tab.

2. To enable output change confirmation on a device, tap on the device, then select "More"

3. On the device settings page, tap the grey display editing selection (1), then tap the orange settings selection (2).

4. In the tab that appears, locate the "Confirm output changes" option and select "✔" in the blue box.

Click "Submit" to save the setting.

Now you have ensured the safe operation of your loads/devices and with Output change Confirmation!

• The next time the owner or administrators of the device try to change its output by pressing the switch, this will not be done immediately. 

• A message will first appear asking you to confirm the output change. Here you can press "OK" to confirm the action or "Cancel" to cancel it.

• Since you press "OK" then you will see that the status of the switch and the output of the device has changed.
