1. Try to connect your mobile phone or other device to that Wi-Fi network, open a browser and try to load any web page. In case you failed to load it, then go to step 3.

2. Alternatively, you can check the connectivity status of your router via the "WiFiman" application:

  • Connect your mobile phone to the specific Wi-Fi network you also want to connect the HAM device to.
  • Install the "WiFiman" app, open it on your smartphone, and tap the "Status" option.
  • In the appearing section, you will see the Internet connectivity status of the router you are connected to.

3. Whichever of the above 2 ways you check the connection with, if you see that the Internet is not connected or not accessible, then perform a local autopsy of your router to see if there is a problem with connectivity:

  • Make sure your router is active and able to communicate with the Internet.
  • Make sure your router has the ability to broadcast Wi-Fi enabled.
  • Make sure the DSL line has synchronized the signals it is receiving.
  • Make sure that the Internet connection has been established.
  • Make sure that the device is not currently undergoing an update.

Solution

  • In the first 2 cases, try turning on your router or Wi-Fi respectively, using the appropriate buttons.
  • In all other cases, try restarting your router to see if the problem resolves itself.
  • If the problem is not resolved after restarting, then it is due to an objective problem of the provider company and it is beyond your power to resolve. In this case, wait for the connection to be restored and try again.
